The Ceramic League of the Palm Beaches is accepting applications for an Educational Scholarship of $500.00 to be given to a deserving student majoring in ceramic art.

Applications will be accepted from March 5,through May 5, 2010.

Requirements for Application. The applicant must:

1) Be a resident of Palm Beach County
2) Be a senior in high school with a GPA of at least 3.0
3) Obtain a letter of recommendation from a current art instructor.
4) Have a portfolio of 5 - 8 ceramic artworks (sculptural or functional). (Digital images (CD-ROM or e-mail), slides or photographs)
5) Submit a brief bio and artists statement along with a completed application form.

Bio and Artists statement should not be longer than 2 pages. Mention your way of working with clay and your inspirations and goal for the future.

The application and images will be juried by the residing Board of the Ceramic League of the Palm Beaches.
